Fiber dehumidifier
Their primary function is to remove droplets or tiny solid particles from the gas to ensure the gas purity and the normal operation of equipment. Fiber mist eliminators use fiber materials as the filtration medium and achieve high-efficiency demisting through physical mechanisms.
How it works
The core component of a fiber mist eliminator is made up of a filtering medium consisting of many fibers. These fibers can be made of materials such as polyester, fiberglass, etc., which have excellent chemical stability and high-temperature resistance. When gas passes through the eliminator, the droplets are captured by the fiber mesh. The interlaced structure of the fiber mesh not only increases the path of gas flow but also effectively reduces the speed of the airflow, causing the droplets to coalesce upon contact with the fibers and ultimately be removed. The captured droplets flow along the surface of the fibers and are discharged, thus achieving the purpose of dehumidification.
Features and advantages
Efficiency: Fiber mist eliminators have efficient mist removal performance, capable of handling fine droplets, suitable for high fog concentration situations.
Corrosion resistance: Made of corrosion-resistant fiber materials, it maintains stable performance even in various corrosive gas environments.
High temperature resistance: Can work stably under high temperature conditions for a long time, suitable for the purification treatment of high-temperature gases.
Low resistance: The structural design of the fiber mesh allows for low resistance to gas flow, which helps to save energy consumption.
Easy maintenance: Compared to other types of demisters, fiber demisters are easier to maintain and clean, which reduces operational and maintenance costs.
Application fields
Chemical industry: Used to remove droplets produced during chemical reactions, protecting equipment and the environment.
Oil and gas industry: Remove droplets during the oil and gas separation process to improve product quality.
Metallurgical industry: Used for the separation of droplets in high-temperature gases, reducing corrosion of equipment.
Power industry: used for gas purification in combustion processes, reducing the droplet content in flue gas.
